Oh! what fun they had

Boys, girls, men, ladies, children and of course the odd stray dog were at the Halle in St.Antonin for the bal organised by our neighbours and their young friends. In the photos there will be French faces you will recognise, like Arnaud the schoolteacher at Parisot.. With a lovely man like him, it would be worth going back to school. As well as loving dancing he sings, plays guitar, mouth organ and who knows what else. Our neighbour Magali was there teaching the dances along with Anne Claire [ it was nine of Anne Claire's family that came the Christmas before last from Brittany to house sit all the pets.]
The children learning the dances will have their love of traditional dance all their lives after passing wonderful evenings like these. I  said it was lovely seeing the children dancing and Anne Claire said " c'est chouette" prounced  a bit like sweat with an "h" swheat" It means sweet or charming.

Keen dancers this group
