Croix de l'aube / the dawn cross

Along the road at Mas del Sol in the most beautiful scenery is Cazelles Cross. As many readers will remember it is a spot we go and enjoy walks with the dogs. We have decided when we leave this mortal coil our souls will rest there, not really important about our body shells and what happens to them, much more important to each other to know if we want a quiet moment with the other one, that is where we will be, dogs and all.
 Daisy our little westie who died is waiting there for us (well we told her soul to STAY but when did she listen to that command in life)

Talking yesterday to a French neighbour we discovered her maternal grandmother was a Cazelles and for all her life, ( she is even older than us) she has called the cross " The dawn cross"
We can understand that as we have seen the dawn rise above and around it.
How lovely to be at rest at "the dawn cross." ( well everyone has to go sometime and it is nice to think of yourselves in a beautiful spot)
Will someone come and say a poem from time to time, that would be heaven!!
Hopefully in 25 years time!
