Also many cities will be clogged by taxis en colere. Their drivers are worried about the rise of VTCs, minicabs we call them. There will be operations escargo designed to slow traffic. It seems that a similar demonstration will be held in London, where minicabs are common, but the use of smartphone apps to call a cab is of concern to black cab drivers.
Interesting to note that Uber, the American company trying to introduce the concept to Paris, raised millions of dollars on the US stock market last week - some one thinks it will catch on.
