They may have the best food, the chicest clothes and that certain je ne sais quoi, but it seems the French are a mucky lot when it comes to dog mess. French dog owners are the least likely to clean up after their dogs, turning their noses up at the very idea of stopping to gather up their pet’s doings, according to an international survey of dog owners’ habits. The findings were based on the number of poop bags sold in any one country by British-based pet products company, Beco Pets. The firm has sold more than 10 million of its Beco bags in 17 countries around the world since their launch in 2009.
