Sebastien Bras is the head of the 3 star restaurant founded by his father Michel in Aubrac (Aveyron) and has ordered a complete make-over of the restaurant.
Due to re-open in April the design brief, from cutlery, crockery, signage and lighting was given to a pair of young designers from Toulouse. A+B Designers are Hanika Perez and Brice Genre and their brief included the need to be discreet. The star of the ambiance is the countryside and the star of the interior is the food on the plate - so no distractions.
Looking at their website http://www.aplusbdesigners.com/ I hoped that the signage they choose is less tiring on the eyes than the very difficult to read typeface used on the site.
