A walk along the Aveyron by the troll bridge

Such a lovely morning we donned our walking shoes and off to Najac, hoping at first for a coffee. After a " demi tour" round the village which is still in chaos being repaved with cobble stones, to find no coffee shop open we drove of to the bridge Pont St. blaise. We parked and walked along the river there. Half way along we stopped and listened to a herd of goats clambering over rocks on the other side of the river. All their cloches/ bells were like a tune, it was really enchanting. Bonny had a look of "let me at 'em" so we were pleased they were over the river.
We got back home tired and muddy but nothing different there.

Pont St. Blaise, we call it the troll bridge. It has been there across the Aveyron since about 1260 ish.
I think it has probably been rebuilt many times but it has always been in the same position
