Kiwi fruits grown in Varen

Last night Emile arrived "chez nous" with a big box of Kiwi fruits. He is known in the village for his superb potager and neighbours who live around and about profit from his gardening endeavours. The fruits are delicious  but only so many needed, so  I then swapped half of them for a dozen eggs from Anke. You can see how barter systems work.
