Bird feeder blues

Dear Val and Malcolm,

So much easier I can now see through the viewfinder.

Birds do have their habits, these Greenfinches turn up mid-morning, I am sure they have a greedy gene, because they just stuff themselves continuously and the other birds have to run the gauntlet to get access.  I did try to introduce a queuing system but it never took off.

I find Bluetits the least bothered and they dart in, grab a sunflower seed and dart back out before they are spotted.  Then a Hawfinch turns up and sees off the Greenfinches, for a short time anyway.  These shots are of some of the blustering that goes on round the bird feeder.  Fortunately we have several stations so everyone gets a turn.
