The little free library at St. Antonin Noble Val

On the dot of 12 noon, a group assembled to inaugurate the free street library. Vanessa Couchman's book The House at Zaronza was the first to go in on the shelves. Others followed including a couple of Occitan titles brought by Gavin Porter who is mastering Occitan. The book box/ shelves are delightful and made by a Dutch man Jan Van Schaik, from an old bed he told me. Bretje who had the original idea and followed it up will also see that the free library is kept topped up and vibrant. The sun did not exactly shine but it was waiting in the wings and it will certainly shine on the scheme in future. The idea is to take a book and replace it and needless to say a book in good condition.  The library box is on the wall opposite the Gazpacho.
Val says though I say it myself, what lovely photos
