You know that I am not an expert at conducting a donkey around Mas del Sol, but in my wildest dreams I wish a willing donkey would conduct me from Gijon to Compostelle...Would it be a nightmare for the donkey?

Val says Bertrand had a terrible time when he took Lucy out walking the lanes. She got stung by a wasp and galloped off down the road with saddle and bags slipping round her tummy. He eventually found her and they both came home in exhausted state. He is walking the route to Compostelle and had fancied taking a donkey ... till his episode with Lucy.
