Vendange Merchien style, but it is happening all over Gaillac
Val Hughes, wife of Peter a TAG photographer has helped out cooking the meal for the Meakins at the time of the vendange for a few years. Whilst Val was slaving away over a hot oven, Peter managed to get a few minutes from picking to take a few photos. As we passed through the Gaillac vineyards today back and forth from Toulouse these scenes were repeated at each chateau.
The Meakins are on the market at St. Antonin selling their wine each Sunday, why not give a bottle or two a try.
