What a ferocious storm hit us last night, the wind was stronger than we remember for some time.
Our renters left for their plane at 4 am and we hope their drive to Bordeaux went well.
This morning we had branches down everywhere, the panel fencing near the pool had blown to bits and was scattered to the four winds. So along with all the cleaning and bed changing lots of tidying of the site to be done.
Our telephone line was non existent so we popped out for bread and intended to use the WIFI at the bar. In Varen everyone was out in the street so we knew there was a problem, they, the poor folk were without, water, electricity and phone.
We were told the PO at Laguepie had power so off we went to Laga, where they were slightly better, but still no WIFI.
About one o'clock we were restored. phew!
