This request from the Abbey de Beaulieu is an interesting one and calls for a judgement from Solomon. However I do see that there could be similarities between it and the Elgin Marbles. Where would you stand on that one?

Val says a very good point Ginnya and I am for the Elgin marbles being given back, ( but I wonder if they would be as well looked after in Athens)so you are right " the judgement of Solomon needed"
We were in the church yesterday admiring the altar and I made the same point about the Elgin marbles as we were chatting. There must be many artifacts that were taken by the people in the revolution and I wonder what the courts have said in earlier cases. Anyone know?
