Course de Cote

Hi Val,

In reply to the reader who wants to view the race.
It is a big international event so is very well regulated and organised.
There should be leaflets available at the St Antonin tourist office giving times etc.
It costs about 10€ per adult to watch. Not sure about children.
You have to go to the start point to get in and then walk up the hill to your preferred spot.
Pedestrians are fenced off from the cars but you probably watch at your own risk.
Cars do crash and roll over on the bends.
You can see some past Course de Cote runs on YouTube .
Food and drinks are usually available from 'buvettes' along the route.
Good idea to take umbrellas to shade you from the sun or rain, plus water !
If this is too expensive and you just want to see the cars, come to Place du Pradel and the car park behind.
There will be car revving up all day long !!
Hope this helps.
Deirdre
