We have said goodbye to our French friends and off they have gone back to the North. Malc and I are now armed with shopping lists, one for us and one for the hungry hordes arriving from the North, but this time the North of England. Seven folk who eat themselves out of house and home, who are lovers of this area of France. I think this group have not missed a visit and sometimes more than one a year in the years we have been here. We do know friends who say when are the " Barraclough boys" coming and we will vacate the area! but that is in jest (we hope...).
We were at the marché nocturne in St. Ant last night and we saw many friends trailing family behind, so we know we are all entertaining in this " periode estivale"
I think if we had money I would just have pay a chef for 2 months over the summer, as certain celebrities here seem to do.
