Yep definitely doryphores. If like Anna you don't use poisons, you are dead right, squish 'em in between your fingers. No need for rubber gloves, they are not poisonous (unless eaten raw in great quantities). Les francais d'autre fois used arsenic, before that the whole family, kids 'n all went out squishing.
