The biker was in the wrong but motor bikes have no reverse gear and maybe the bike was very heavy to push/steer backwards? Perhaps some former bikers can enlighten us?

Val says Malc thinks that may be correct that bikes do not have a reverse but all the more reason not to drive into a position where you are stuck with two stroppy mature ladies infront of you.
