Folk'n'Jazz

Wow what a summer ! It took its time starting but finally sunshine and warm evenings - just what we expect.

And wow what a summer folk'n'jazz is having with two amazing evenings so far, June at Mas de Sol and last month at the chateau in Parisot. Follow that as they say - well this month on Thursday 29th August we head Najac way to the site of yet more ancient stonework and beautiful scenery at La Contie the home of Brian and Lorna Green. Brian, who is one of the regular singers at folk'n'jazz, will also be the MC for the evening. As always new singers/musicians would be welcome especially if they contact Brian in advance at folkjazz82@outlook.com or phone 05 63 67 93 35.

As usual it is an 8pm start, bring your own chairs/drinks/2euros entry and enjoy the music. Every month is different as in addition to a core of regular performers there are always some surprises and you never know who might be around in the summer.

Bring your friends, bring your visitors, send your renters or escape all of the above and come alone - either way hope to see lots of you there.

directions to La contie: take the D47 From Monteils or Laguepie turn at St Salvary signed St Martial and La Contie (there is an agricultural repair place on the corner).  After 2km or so, at St Martial turn right and then right again signed La Contie and Villevayre.  In La Contie on entering the village on a right hand corner opposite a house will be signs for parking and directions to FolknJazz.  Additional parking will be available just past the first barn on the left.
