Today we have the marechal ferrant / blacksmith coming at 9 am. We need to catch the donkeys and have them with their licols / head harness on and ready and waiting. My two girls arrive as soon as I shout them and enjoy having their licols put on always hoping it means a walk. The boys Filou and Coco are more reticent but are getting better at coming, following on behind the girls.
We need also to phone the vet again as Rosie once again has a wart on her ear that has grown quickly and may need burning off and Lucy has another small one that will need treatment. I am determined to get on top of these unsightly ear warts which are virulent. The girls pass them to each other as their heads are often together, they are very affectionate with each other. Fortunately the boys have not caught them.
Just what you need to hear on a morning - news of warty donkey ears!!
It does mean I must go and walk the dogs now.
