Rush, rush, rush this morning

A storm through the night brought the neighbours dog Kenza, who lives outside, scratching and barking at the door. She  manages to get through the gates round the courtyard which keep our dogs in and whenever there is a storm she arrives seeking comfort. Fortunately our dogs do not seem to mind, although our cats are more nervous of her.
So an unsettled night, calming her down till she went back over the road this morning. The renters two children were up early and hanging around so they could help me feed the animals. They have apparently booked our gite because we have donkeys, so points for the donkeys on that one.
Soon it will be time to get ready for the book swap, but the dogs will need their walk before then.
It is all go in our house, and Malc who is not generally up for doing " le repassage" is up for making my breakfast, washing up and walking the dogs.
