Do you live in the nether regions of Varen, like St. Martiel, St. Vincent, Arnac, Succaillac, anywhere outside of the village of Varen but in the commune.( St. Foy? yes, thats in the commune)
Would you like to be involved in the life of the village?
I have yet another cunning plan! ( Malc groans.)
When we had meetings with French lady villagers they did not know where Mas del Sol was although they had lived in the village for 20 years or more.
So if we cannot go to café / bars as it is not the done thing then inviting people to homes around the area is a double whammy. We learn French and we all learn places in the commune.
Contact me if you live in the commune of Varen and want to be involved in offering a venue or in making a cake or biscuits, come the time, I am thinking of once a month.
I am happy to host October, and Jeremy and Iga tentatively have agreed to December.
I am envisaging the host provides coffee and some of the guests bring cakes and we all talk FRENCH helped by our French neighbours.
