Does it strike you as funny that the donkeys have not escaped since last Spring.
Yesterday we had chasseurs all over the fields and today a fence was down in the woods. I think the men may not realise the donkeys use that section of those woods. I cannot see it being a deliberate act just thoughtlessness. Later today I am off to have a polite word with the head of the Varen chasse.
The donkeys by the way came running to me when I found them and all trotted back with me with no trouble. They always seem relieved to be home.
