If you send a letter which is what an email is you would say " Good Morning Mrs Johnstone" or "Hello Val" surely.
In my mind it is common courtesy. I enjoy writing and editing TAG and receiving your emails but most of you know how I feel about receiving emails to go on TAG with out a greeting.
Apart from the obvious courtesy factor it distinguishes to a reader that it is not a post written by me. New readers may not be aware of how strongly I feel about this, so from time to time I let you know.
With that of my chest I will go and give the donkeys a bit more grazing area by moving the electric fencing to incorporate a bit of the grounds... it will save me mowing.
