So pleased that a friend Sophie Stickie explained to this young man from Afghanistan about our ceremonies to honouring the dead from the world wars.
At Verfeil having had it explained he was pleased to be able to interact and remember the dead.
Bacha Khan has been given 10 years asylum. I happened to be with him a year ago when his family home was destroyed by a rival army, we watched it on his phone sent by his brother. One child was injured in the attack, other family members were left homeless.
He would have quite a lot of remembering and homage to be paid to the dead from more recent times.
