I thought it might be worth researching animal refuges in Sweden and my first google click brought up this link, but hang on I thought this is a site in Spain not Sweden. Reading further I see this animal charity based in Spain now rehomes many dogs in Sweden.
Sweden and Danemark do not have the same problem as us other countries who have refuges overflowing with sad eyed, barked out animals. They have a culture of all animals having a worth and would rather adopt a mutt than pay a huge price for a pedigree.
We have a mutt and a pedigree and both dogs think this is an interesting story (they tell me)
