First showing

Hi Val

It was Monday evening for all Gite/B&B owners and James went along.  He thought it showed off Saint Antonin very well.

We've had another American Feedback....

We have seen the movie "The Hundred Foot Journey" which was principally filmed in St. Antonin. It did not get good reviews here in the US although we enjoyed it. There was a lot less of St. Antonin than we would have hoped for and a lot of CGI-computer generated image retouching. The movie "Chocolat" had a lot more of that village than this does of St. Antonin. The two restaurants with St. Antonin in the background do not exist where you see them in the movie. It looks like that shot of St. Antonin was taken from a helicopter over the Aveyron Gorge or a camera perched on the side. I assume there is a lot of excitement there about the opening which I understand will be later in September. The movie may be good for your business but we sort of hope that there is no real estate frenzy, at least until after we do or do not decide to buy

Val says   sorry to your future American renter but we have friends selling houses so bring it on... a real estate frenzy.
The good thing about this film is they have used the name of the village  so the world hears about St. Antonin. We are on the map.
