Dates we personally cannot forget
Salon du Jardin du été SATURDAY 19th of JULY. If you are bringing exhibits you need to be there between 9.30 and11.30 am. If you are coming to look between 2 and 4 pm with presentations at 4pm.
There is also a possibility of bringing exhibits between 4 and 6 pm on Friday evening. All brought to the Salle des fetes in Varen which is down a little road in the centre of Varen practically opposite the boulangerie, it is called the Salle Claude Teil.
This event is like a gardening show in England but includes a category for everyone, photography, bread and cake making, jams, artwork patchwork, handicafts an interesting childrens section, open to all.
Picnic in the Park at Mas del Sol is on the following Wednesday the 23rd arriving for 7pm The forecast is looking good for that setting of the big red ball, the Mas del Sol sun. Picnic as the sun sets and dance and sing to that brilliant Dixie Land Jazz band Martin's Jazz Band from Toulouse. If you have booked but not paid we would like you to send your money now. We will present one cheque for all the money less the cost of the band to Jean Marie Nosal the President of Via Sahel Enfants d' Afrique. Jean Marie and Winnie will be with us on the evening.
It is promising to be a super evening where we are going to have a ball raising money for others less fortunate.
