The plant swap for everyone

Fifi & TAG Plant Swap 14th April 2 – 4 p.m.
It’s a week until the spring plant swap and I think it’s going to be a good one! The plant swap is organised between Fifi andTAG  but you don’t have to be a member of Fifi to attend, everyone is welcome.
Many knowledgeable gardeners have already informed me that they’ve potted up cuttings from their gardens weeks ago to give them time to take root, so I’m looking forward to seeing a great collection of plants available for swapping! It’s not too late though, so if you haven’t done so already, get out into your garden and see if you have anything suitable for digging up, cutting or dividing. Seeds are also welcome, and we, like Val, are currently growing some lovely French heritage tomatoes from seeds donated by one of our neighbours last year. So whether you have a few seeds left over in your packets or you’re harvesting seeds from your plants yourself, bring them along.
Even if you don’t have any plants and seeds to swap, there will plenty of contributions, so just drop by anyway and see what lovely new varieties you can pick up for free! TerriTippett is unable to join us for this swap as she’s busy with her nursery at the minute. However, we’ll have a range of alpines and perennials for sale from our nursery if anyone’s looking for something specific.
Monday 14th April, 2pm – 4pm
Le Jardin des Espiemonts, Metse, Les Espiemonts, 82160,Caylus.
If you’ve not been to us before, we’re a bit tucked away. Drive through Les Espiemonts towards La Salle. As you leave Les Espiemonts, just before the hill up through the trees, there’s a tiny crossroads. Turn right here, signed “Metse” and we’re the third house on the left, about half a mile along the lane.
