France is still top of the list in the world for tourists with 83 million visitors each year.
The economic and political problems that are affecting many parts of the world continue to spare the tourism sector.
We have had no problem filling the gite this year, but then we never do. One can see why visitors like our area, so much to do, so much to see, so much to eat and all in beautiful scenery. I think having the two rivers the Aveyron and the Vaour on our doorstep are a big bonus, with canoeing, swimming and paddling in the rivers to supplement fun in the piscine. Our renters who leave today are on their third visit, they were telling me last night that they "fell lucky" when they found us but I know there are many places where you could fall lucky in our beautiful area.
