French radio this morning, " trains,planes and roads grinding to a halt, what is wrong that a bit of snow brings this country to a halt" Which country did we used to hear this in every winter ? Fortunate indeed we have been with two of our cinema evenings, where guests have left then a few hours later, snow has arrived. We have joked that if everyone got snowed in we do have plenty of beds. Looking out of the window this morning there is a good layer of snow with snowflakes still falling. Two white shapes standing at the fence ( cloture) tell me the girls have been waiting for their hay for some time. Got to go.
