Nous sommes le samedi quatre novembre

A couple of days of fine dining.
Last night we had one of the best typically French meals we have had for some time.
Oysters followed by coquilles St. Jaques in a leek sauce. Then very rare lamb, roast potatoes and green beans and white beans. Cheese of course and a choclate gateaux.
The French friend who had invited us is known for her cuisine and she certainly did us proud.
This lunch time we have booked into the Moulin de Varen making the most of eating there before it closes for redecoration of the back room over the winter months. Tomorrow is the last day.
Malc tells me there were no roast potatoes, we had those at la Seye et vous the day before!! We had a very good meal there on Thursday lunch, Toulouse sausage and pois cassés and banana and choclate crumble and ice cream.
