There is a far right organisation called "Generation Identitaire" which has the usual toxic publicity against migrants. As with other such organisations they call all the migrants "clandestins", ie illegal immigrants. Most of the migrants are asylum seekers and are therefore not illegal whilst their claims are investigated, as the Geneva Convention regarding refugees recognises the right to cross borders illegally when fleeing dangerous conflicts.
A proposed CAO (Centre d'Accueil et Orientation) in Montpellier has had a breeze block wall erected in front of it during the night. The group says it does not want "clandestins" walking around the city "mixing with young Montpellerains".
This particular group recently opened a club in Lille open only to "white French people" suggesting that they are not just opposed to immigrants, but are a white supremacy group.
