We got back from the book swap to be met by Caroline Mills from Cajarc with a car stuffed full of things she had picked up from Jacky at Lauzerte. Jacky if you remember had gone off the Greece with medicines, toiletries and bedding. She had been left with piles of clothes and bedding piled up in her Dr husbands cabinet/ surgery. I was left to oversee that it was all picked up before their return so that the " medecin remplacant " could do his job. Caroline Mills who is in between here and there jumped up once again in to the line of duty and has picked it all up, ready to go off to Calais.
Also yesterday another thank you to Joanne Schofield from Verfeil for all the stuff she had collected a second time and 85 euros for petrol money.
... last but not least to Nigel Shamash who today had sent a very good cheque made out to the Association Salam. He had nothing to send so instead made a donation. Well done that lad!
