Regarding Carolyn’s view on the immigrants, I would suggest she considers the words; “Judge me not; because you know me not”.
Empathy is the building block of morality and can help us to imagine how it feels to walk in another's shoes.
Perhaps Carolyn should not judge so harshly those immigrants who flee from hunger, violence, oppression and sometimes death to seek a better life for themselves and their families,
until she walks a mile in their shoes or lives a day in their lives.
