We may have mentioned before that our elderly neighbour across the valley has a fine orchard of fruit trees and when he has a good crop to protect he turns on his radio loud to keep the birds away.
So when Eldo started to worry about the voices floating across the valley, we knew the cherries are good this year. We often speculate about which station works best. Judging from the amount of speech it may be France Info, so perhaps the birds are hungry but well informed. Any other bird scaring ideas?
