Hi Val,

 you ask why dog pooh smells so disgusting and the short answer

is - it the food they are fed on. Barty and Jet are fed on raw meat and
we get small, firm and completely non smelly (unless they have a stomach
bug) poohs.
All supermarket dog foods are made with cheap, rubbish that is rejected
from the human food chain and all dry dog food no matter how expensive
it is is difficult for dogs to digest. Therefore a combination of cheap
rubbish and poor digestion results in VERY smelly pooh.
There's your answer

Val says so do you buy meat from the butchers for them?

Hi Val, Some meats I get from the supermarket (chicken wings, pork). I

also get the dechets from the butchers counters and I supplement this
with a regular frozen meat delivery from a company in Germany
(DasTierHotel) which specialises in meat for companion animals. My bill
for feeding both of my two dogs (one weighing 28kg and the other 21kg)
is approximately €77 per month.
