Exciting news from Festilitt

Festilitt - the Parisot literary festival 23, 24 & 25 October 2015 We complete our 2015 English language line up with Kate Mosse internationally best-selling novelist, playwright and non-fiction author.    Kate's Languedoc trilogy  - Labyrinth, Sepulchre & Citadel - has sold more than 5 million copies in 42 language throughout the world.  She has followed this success with a string of best-selling books, the latest of which, The Taxidermist's Daughter, she will discuss with us at the festival. Awarded an OBE for services to literature in 2013, Kate is also the Founder and Chair of the Board of the Bailey's Prize for Women's Fiction (previously the Orange prize). To say that we are thrilled that she is joining us is a bit of an understatement. Read more about Kate And there's more... Greg Mosse creative writing workshop   Kate's husband, Greg, is a seasoned creative writing teacher, regularly running writing workshops at literary festivals in the UK and on intensive residential courses. His own background in writing began in scripts for the theatre and he has also worked extensively in literary translation, editing and education. He has a track record of publishing short stories and at Festilitt he will combine this experience with his teaching skills in a half day workshop focusing on writing publishable short stories    Due to limited capacity, you must reserve a place in advance to attend Greg’s workshop.  Booking will open in September and priority will be given to friends and patrons of the festival.
