Two houses,a pigeonnier and a dependance full of spiders. If you have an old country house in France you will have spiders and wood eating insects amongst other things.
We will have to go on a spider hunt before the grandchildren come. We tend to catch them and let them out over in the donkeys shelter and surrounding covered area, we cannot do it too soon else they will all be back.
I have rosy grandma visions of grandchildren having happy memories of their magical holidays in France, when in reality they may say too each other at forty: " Gawd can you remember having to go to grandparents every summer holiday and they had spiders everywhere, what a nightmare it was!"
Even our four nephews could be saying " the best thing about French holidays were all the spiders, which were great for pulling legs off"
Malc says I am now committing the cardinal sin of stereo typing, but girls scream at spiders and boys do horrid things to them in my experience.
