Family dialogue useful

Hi Val
Aimed at slightly older children are the "Petit Nicolas" books, of which we have several, some in French, some in English.  Whilst being equally addictive, they contain a lot of family dialogue, which helps in communicating with French friends.  Also, the vocabulary is quite everyday, providing ways to say things that we all need.

Here's a useful phrase for tomorrow : "il s'avère que..." - it turns out that  (as in: I went to the shop but it turns out that it's closed all day).

Val says posted today as I am starting translating tomorrow. Help may be needed along the way!
