Brrr, brr, cold in Laguepie yesterday

Coat, scarves, gloves, warm hats or in Bonny's case fur coat and off we went to check out the street marché at Laguepie. Christmas trees on every corner and in every square," Laga" knows how to celebrate  and there they were the giant hanging baubles with " I love Laguepie"  on the biggest trees.

The marché was a bit disappointing and everyone with stalls looked so cold. I did find a treasure of a poterie stall and spent all my euros in one go. The ceramist was from La Fouillade called Corinne Kadous  and she has an atelier / workshop there. She gives " stages"/  courses for adults and children and I thought it might be a thing to do in the holls if the children came without parents next year.

There was the sound of a hurdy gurdy playing, the man said it was a "orgue de Barbary" , there were two shetland ponies and a donkey giving rides but sadly not too many takers. We met a stall holder, a French lady we knew who said as it was cold the event had been poorly attended.
We thought a stall selling hot drinks or soup would have done an extremely good trade, and we would have been first in the queue.
