Two local teams had differing results in the European Rugby Cup (ex Heineken or H Cup) this weekend. Toulouse had a narrow win over Glasgow to ensure their qualification for the quarter finals. Castres, par contre were beaten by Wasps and now have no chance of qualifying. French champions and Cup holders Toulon were beaten by Leicester Tigers, ending a run of 9 consecutive wins in the competition. English Top 14 leaders, Bath have an uphill struggle to qualify, with Toulouse and Glasgow out ahead of their group. The return fixtures this weekend may give a better idea of who else is going through.
