I hope you are having a lovely sunny weekend. Next week in Parisot there will be a fantastic guitar concert that has been organised by a new association called 'Collectif Espresiu'. The aim of this new association is to raise money to transform what was the old post office building in the village (where Godefroy has his guitar making workshop on the ground floor www.mjsguitars.net ) into a space that can be used by artists and musicians for workshops, classes, rehearsals, workspace and more. We've currently been using the space to rehearse for the monthly village jam sessions but the building has much more potential! Any money raised at this concert will be put towards refurbishment and there will be more information about the association, and the chance to join, on the night.
