The kestrel and orchid season, that's Spring.
We have kestrels whizzing past the window dangling tasty little mouse morsels from their beaks, up the road we have spotted our first lady orchid and the orchid field, next to the fox field as we call it is just full of early purple orchids.
Malc got back from the walk with the dogs and wished I had been with him to hear the cuckoo, nightingale, frogs, hoopoo, and deer barking.
