A lovely way to spend a Christmassy morning

We got up early, I have to say in the sun again, fed and sorted the pets then off to the market in St. Antonin for those last minute tasty bits. The market was very quiet but had a lovely Christmassy atmosphere. The ex gendarme was at his position with two donkeys, one sporting reindeers, aah,
I had a little chat about my donkey girls and procreation. He agreed the two castrated males we are looking after, must still have the memory but no bullets. The two donkeys he had with him were both uncastrated males and in the Spring could come out on loan if I wanted babies. Oh! please do not let Malc read this bit! Anyway it was just a general conversation.
Just noticed both donkeys have little bags tied round their tails to collect pooh, how interesting.

Steve Carpetman had  a stall showing off all the different floorings and a few carpet samples. He has also got now the complete range of FARROW and BALL paint products and I took a leaflet to check new colours.
Then we went to a farm near Caylus were we had ordered two of the geese advertised on TAG. We had ordered 2 birds  weighing 3 lbs, look fabulous, one for Christmas Day, not sure when we will eat the other but when do you get the chance of a  bio goose living a good life in the open air until the end comes. Andrew Mediaman was there picking up a larger bird, but knew the couple and although he had seen it on TAG that had not been the motivator. Naomi still has some geese left so think about one for the freezer if you already have your Christmas bird.
