What about my ipad?

 Just saw your comment about accents and thought you and others might find this list useful if they are using a UK keyboard..
 Some of them are German and Irish and the last 4 are useful as well.
 If you have a laptop without a number pad on the right, they may not work with the numbers along the top.  In which case you have to press Numlock (or Fn + Numlock) and then use the numbers embedded in the alpha keys, then turn off Numlock to go back to normal characters.  A bit cumbersome but if you are writing something important in French it can be worthwhile.
