The annual village fete in Promilhanes will happen this weekend. Promilhanes is in the SE corner of the LOT, a few km SE of Limogne en Quercy. Contact 05 65 31 55 32 or 05 65 21 12 93 for more info.
Friday July 12 there will be a Quine in the village centre starting at 21h.
Sat July 13 there will be a Brocante/Vide Greniers from 9h -18h, a Marche Gourmande starting at18h, Aperoconcert at 19h and Rock concert at 21h.
Sunday July 14 there will be a Cycle Randonee at 8h and the Repas truffade saucisse with traditional bal at 20h (bring your own plates/cutlery/glasses). I don't know whether you need to reserve for the meal; I would suggest calling to check.
Regarding the short shorts -- during the hot spell in June, we saw a teenage girl serving at a village fete meal wearing short shorts over sheer tights -- and the shorts even revealed the darker 'panty' part of the tights... Are you seeing the short shorts being worn alone or over tights?

Val Says It was so hot in Toulouse that they were just wearing shorts, really does not sound cool wearing tights. We were reminded of us wearing hot pants in the sixties and I think we wore those with tights.
