A body has been found in Northern Mali which is thought to be Philippe Verdon, a hostage taken in Nov. 2011. His face is very well known in France as his picture has been shown constantly on TV since his capture. His execution by beheading was reported im March but till now his body had not been found
Un corps découvert récemment dans le Nord du Mali serait selon "une très forte probabilité" celui de l'otage français Philippe Verdon, enlevé par Al Qaïda au Maghreb islamique (Aqmi) en novembre 2011, a annoncé dimanche soir le ministre français des Affaires étrangères.
