A misty frosty start to the morning, with donkeys lost somehere in the fog. Shouting when they heard me arrive to feed them, then appearing closer to hand than I had thought.
Not a morning to stand in contemplation of the beauty of the countryside, but one to break ice on the donkeys water buckets, add some warm water from a watering can, throw over some hay into the field and scurry home tripping over numerous mole hills and the odd cat who insists on rubbing round my ankles.
Max is the " odd" one.
Today after two weeks we are on our own and the bed washing begins. The house / gite was
cleaned yesterday by the young men and today life takes on an easier pace.
As your visitors depart I am sure many of you are doing similar things, along with a " phew"!
