We did mention some time ago that the future of the weirs and mills on the rivers Aveyron and Bonnette was under debate, with a view to removing obstacles.
The group Coté Noble Val has organised a public meeting on 17th March at 18h (6pm) at the Mairie to discuss this matter. For example removing the weir downstream from St Antonin would have a serious effect on the "plan d'eau" just below the bridge, affecting the canoe water sports there and the town's tourist appeal.
