What AMAZING groups of people

I had a long talk tonight with the best English speaker of the  refugee group explaining about the CADA which they understand. I wanted to explain that whatever happened we were all (the group of helpers) going to be the adopted carers of the group now and for their future lives. I explained they may have to go off to another CADA on March 14th but it would not be for long. If  any of them then wanted to come back to the area we wanted them to know we will do all we can to help them find accomodation and settle. Some will inevitably want to go to cities where there will be  other people their ages and more job opportunities. I was suprised that the guy thought many would want to come back and make a life here. We have all made them feel safe and I think that is wonderful.
If in the next few months let me know if you have possible accomodation. Laura, Sid, Malc and I are all prepared to offer places. I am working on the idea, they pay the heating and water costs and then pay off the rent by helping us around the site with gardening, painting etc. in between any possible work they can find. Many have practical skills they can use.
It will be great to see them develop their new lives and with their skills with the English language and  their keeness to learn French they stand as good a chance as any of finding work. Those wanting to finish University courses will need to improve their French language first. Two or three will want family to come and join them, but that may take months.
These young people are the lucky ones regardless of no money, they have our group of benevolés French and English helping them  who are  just AMAZING and they are all pretty amazing themselves.
